The 1969/70 season of the Austrian ice hockey league was the second staging of this second division below the Bundesliga . The Grazer AK was champion before the WAT Stadlau and Skiclub Badgastein , ASKÖ Vienna and HC Salzburg also took part. The Grazer AK qualified for the Bundesliga.
