The 2005/06 season of the Austrian ice hockey league was played with four teams. The defending champion was the EC "Die Adler" Stadtwerke Kitzbühel , which however no longer took part in the 2005/06 season. The new champion was the UEC “The Dragons” Mödling .

Mode and schedule

Three rounds are played back and forth, on the basis of which the semi-final pairings are determined. The semi-finals and finals will be held as a best of three series.

The UEC The Dragons Mödling became the league champions. As the winner of the Oberliga, Mödling had the right to be promoted to the National League, but could not use it because the team did not have an ice rink.
