Ice cellar (Weildorf)
The Eiskeller in Weildorf , a district of the Salem municipality in the Lake Constance district in Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1899. The ice cellar at Heiligenbergerstrasse 129 is a protected architectural monument .
history
The ice cellar is located in the center of Weildorf, behind the historic bowling alley , which was renovated a few years ago. The ice cellar was part of the Adler brewery, which was no longer built after a fire.
description
The building consists of two structures. A 12.25 m and 11.40 m wide deeper eastern part of a pitched roof covered. The narrower, transverse and 9.40 m deep western part has a hipped roof with an eaves edge. The roof is covered with plain tiles covered -Ziegeln. The facades of the building are brick- facing .
