Ekke Ozlberger

Ekke Ozlberger (born July 1, 1891 in Trieste , Austria-Hungary , † June 30, 1963 in Vienna ) was an Austrian portrait , landscape and nude painter and graphic artist .

Live and act

The artist studied from 1908 to 1912 with Siegmund L'Allemand at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and then for a year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . In 1913 he continued his studies in Vienna with Alois Delug and finished them in 1921, interrupted by four years of military service . In 1925 he became a member of the Innviertel Artists Guild and in 1928 of the Künstlerhaus . He created portraits, nudes and landscapes in simple naturalism . He has received a number of awards.

He was the last of the former NSDAP members to be accepted back into the Künstlerhaus on May 30, 1952, after being struck from the list of members in the course of denazification in 1945.
