Hugo Geisert

Hugo Geisert (born January 29, 1917 in Ettlingen ; † June 8, 1986 in Walldürn ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Hugo Geisert was born the son of a postal inspector. He attended elementary school in Ettlingen from 1922 to 1926 and then from 1926 to 1931 the Ettlingen Realgymnasium and the humanistic grammar school up to secondary school. He then completed a commercial apprenticeship and trained at the technical schools for commercial advertising in Cologne and Berlin . He then worked in industry. 1935 to 1936 he did military service with the 75th Infantry Regiment in Donaueschingen. From 1936 to 1937 he was an employee in the Bruno Vogel department store in Stadtoldendorf and from 1937 to 1938 in the Peters department store in Norderney. From 1938 to 1939 he was an employee of the Lepien company in Kiel. Then he was department head at Hugo Wurll in Luckenwalde. From 1939 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier and in 1945 was taken prisoner by the Soviets.

In 1945 he was map office manager for the municipality of Schlierstadt. Geisert had been working in the civil service of the district of Buchen since 1946 , first becoming head of the food and economic department and then district treasurer. From 1964 to 1972 he served as district administrator of the district Book from 1973 to 1981 as Chief Executive of the Neckar-Odenwald district . In the state elections in 1960 , 1964 and 1968 , he was elected as a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , to which he was a member until 1972, through a direct mandate from the Mosbach constituency .

Hugo Geisert was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1970. He was married and had three children.
