Ekkehart stone

Ekkehart Stein (born September 24, 1932 in Breslau ; † October 3, 2008 ) was a German constitutional lawyer .

Life

Stein was born as the second child of the Breslau monument conservator Rudolf Stein . He went to Breslau and Erfurt to school and then studied in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main Law . Stein was a student of Helmut Ridder . The habilitation took place at the University of Bonn with a subsequent call to the University of Kiel .

In 1968, Stein moved to the first law chair at the University of Konstanz , of which he was dean for a long time. His focus was constitutional law. His textbook is still used in teaching today and its 21st edition has been published in 2010.

Stein also published in other sciences such as philosophy, theology and atomic physics.
