El Bahattee , bourgeois: Stiv Kahlina (born March 23, 1979 in Zagreb , Yugoslavia ; today Croatia ) is a Croatian chocolatier , former musician and rapper of the Croatian hip-hop scene.

Music career

Stiv Kahlina became known under the name El Bahattee, as part of the Blackout Project through the 1997 album "Project Impossible". Guest appearances followed including Tram 11 and other Croatian rappers, mainly from the Zagreb hip-hop scene.

El Bahattee carried the image of a rapper with lyrics about drugs , sex and violence . But he was also known for his statements on political issues and social criticism with songs such as "Mentalitet '99" ( German: Mentality '99 ).

In 2001 he released his first solo album "Svaki pas ima svoj dan", which was awarded the Croatian music prize " Porin ". The release of his second album "Amen" followed in 2002. After his protest against the Iraq war in 2003, Kahlina completely disappeared from the music scene and was forgotten over time .

Further training and career as a chocolatier

In 2009 Kahlina began to deal intensively with chocolate production after visiting the Paris Chocolate Fair . In 2014 he attended the Belgian Callebaut Academy. Then he founded a company called "Malo i slatko" ( German: small and sweet ), which produces very high-quality and luxurious chocolate.
