Porin (music award)
The Porin is a Croatian music prize and has been awarded annually since 1993. The editors are the Association of Croatian Composers , the Hrvatska Radiotelevizija , the Croatian Music Union and the Croatian Discography Association . The Porin is considered the most important Croatian music award.
The founders of the award are the discographer Veljko Despot , the composer Zrinko Tutić and the composer Dražen Vrdoljak .
The Porin is awarded in 43 categories. Of these, 38 categories are divided into domestic music and five into foreign music.
