Natali Dizdar (born August 27, 1984 in Zadar , SR Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian singer .

Life

Dizdar was born in the Dalmatian coastal city of Zadar. She spent her childhood in Sukošan, where she attended singing school. She first appeared in public when she was eight. Further appearances at various children's singing festivals followed. Dizdar made her first media appearance on the Croatian television channel Nova TV , in the show Story SuperNova Music Talents , comparable to Deutschland sucht den Superstar . At this music competition Natali Dizdar reached the finals with interpretations of songs by the artists Aretha Franklin , Erykah Badu , Alicia Keys , Cyndi Lauper and was soon signed by Croatia Records .

Her professional music career began with the pianist Matija Dedić . Natali Dizdar sang a composition by Zdenko Runjić Moj Galebe at the annual award event of the Croatian music industry Porin . Dizdar released her first single Ne daj in summer 2004. The single became a hit of summer 2004 in the Croatian TOP 20. Her second successful hit single was Gazio si me . In 2005 Dizdar released her first music album on Croatia Records . Natali Dizadar's first concert took place in the Aquarius discotheque in Zagreb . Dizdar received her first award for her artistic work from the Croatian music industry in Osijek .
