Eleanor Haslam
Eleanor Haslam ( Eleanor Jean Haslam, married Jensen; born September 11, 1939 in Saskatoon ) is a former Canadian sprinter and middle-distance runner .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , she was eliminated over 100 m , 200 m and in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the preliminary run.
In 1958, she won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff with the Canadian 4-by-110-yard relay and was sixth over 220 yards .
At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 , she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and was eliminated over 200 m, 800 m and with the Canadian 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.
She was Canadian champion twice over 100 m or 100 yards (1956, 1958) and 220 yards or 200 m (1958, 1960) and once over 60 yards (1957).
In 1974 she was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame .
