Eleonora Heine-Jundi (* 1935 in Frankfurt am Main ; † March 14, 2011 ) was a German painter , graphic artist , author and lecturer.

The artist was known as a painter of trees and for her commitment to trees; she was a member of the Tree of the Year Board of Trustees . Their pictures made them known nationwide and beyond, which manifested itself in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe. The painter's life stages included Lebanon and Liberia .

Heine-Jundi was the initiator and sponsor of the "Heine-Jundi Environment Prize" , which has been awarded annually by the Bad Breisig (Rhineland-Palatinate) community since October 2005 . She lived in Brohl-Lützing (Rhineland-Palatinate).
