Elfriede Tygör
Elfriede Tygör b. Pilz (born October 10, 1903 , † August 25, 1944 in Berlin-Plötzensee ) was a German resistance fighter against National Socialism in connection with the Red Orchestra .
Life
Elfriede Tygör learned the trade as a steno clerk. Until 1935 she worked as a stenographer for the Soviet trade agency in Berlin. Together with her partner Fritz Plön , who led a resistance group at the Oberspree cable works , she belonged to the resistance organization around Robert Uhrig . From 1939, she and her husband intensified the illegal anti-fascist work. She particularly supported the production and sale of leaflets, took over courier services and made her apartment available for consultations between Robert Uhrig, Wilhelm Guddorf and John Sieg .
On February 4, 1942, she was arrested together with Fritz Plön and, like her comrade in arms, Charlotte Eisenblätter, deported to the Ravensbrück concentration camp .
On July 7, 1944, she was sentenced to the maximum sentence by the People's Court together with Charlotte Eisenblätter, Ernst Knaack , Helmut Masche , Fritz Plön, Heinrich Preuß , Kurt Ritter and Fritz Siedentopf . Until the enforcement of the judgment, it was out of the prison Potsdam into the women's prison Barnimstraße spent.
