Elias Steiniger

Elias Steiniger Junior (baptized February 10, 1595 in Abertham ; † 1659 ) was a Bohemian mountain official. He was shift supervisor in Hengsterben , mountain sworn in St. Joachimsthal and mountain master of Platten .

Life

Elias Steiniger was the son of the schoolmaster and cantor of Abertham Elias Steiniger Senior and his wife Catharina born. Kolb, daughter of the mountain master of St. Joachimsthal Gabriel Kolb . Since 1625 he worked as a shift supervisor on the stallion death at Abertham. Since 1629 he has appeared as a mountain jury in St. Joachimsthal. After the mountain master von Platten Johann Löbel resigned his office and left the country for reasons of faith, he took over his office there in 1651. He remained in this function until his death in 1659. His successor was Christoph Haas . Possibly the shift supervisor and hammer owner was von RautenkranzElias Steiniger his son. His cousin was the mountain master of Gottesgab and mayor of St. Joachimsthal Johann Gabriel Macasius .

Steiniger was married to Anna Maria Beer, Matthes Beer's daughter, from 1620. The following children are known from the marriage:
