Elisa Hope Spitz (born May 17, 1963 in Short Hills , New Jersey ) is a former American figure skater .

Spitz competed in ice dancing with Scott Gregory . Together they could win the Skate America twice (1982, 1983) . In their three participations in the national championships , they were runner-up in 1983 and took third place in 1982 and 1984 respectively. In addition, Spitz and Gregory competed in three world figure skating championships . In the years 1982 to 1984 they took eighth, seventh and tenth places. Also in 1984 they took part in the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . There they reached tenth place in ice dancing.

After the end of her active career, Spitz attended Widener University and worked as a Pilates trainer in New Jersey.
