Scott Chase Gregory (born July 31, 1959 in Auburn , New York ) is a retired American figure skater .

Gregory first appeared in ice dancing with Elisa Spitz and later with Suzanne Semanick . With Spitz he won the Skate America in 1982 and 1983 . Together they were runner-up at the national championships in 1983 . In 1982 and 1984 they each came third. They also took part in three figure skating world championships between 1982 and 1984 . They were ranked eight, seven and ten. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , Gregory and Spitz achieved 10th place in ice dancing.

After Spitz ended her active career, Gregory joined Suzanne Semanick. In their first joint national championships in 1985 they reached third place. The following year they became runner-up and were able to become US champions in ice dancing in 1987 and 1988. At the 1985 World Cup , the two reached twelfth place. In the following two years they each took fifth place. Gregory and Semanick participated in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary , where they finished sixth.

Gregory ended his active career due to back pain. He later married former figure skater Pam Gregory .
