Elisabeth Biebl (politician)
Elisabeth Biebl (born October 8, 1928 in Munich ; † November 1, 2019 ) was a German politician ( CSU ).
Life and work
Biebl, who was of Roman Catholic faith, studied law in Munich from 1949 to 1952 after graduating from high school . After legal clerkship and the second state examination in Munich, she entered the higher postal service in 1958. In 1959 she was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD. From 1962 she was a consultant for housing management at the Munich Oberpostdirektion and a department head and later head of department at various post offices. From 1983 to 1990 she was a member of the prison advisory board of the Munich penal institution.
MPs
From 1974 to 1990 Biebl was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . While she was elected in 1982 via the constituency list of Upper Bavaria, she won direct mandates in the state electoral district of Munich-Schwabing in 1974, 1978 and 1986.
