Eliyah Kiptoo (born June 9, 1986 ) is a Kenyan biathlete and former athlete .

Eliyah Kiptoo was a cross-country skier on the B national athletics team in Kenya, but was unable to prevail over the world class athletes in the long term. He ran times in the range of 3:40 minutes over 1500 m and 13:40 over 5000 m. On the initiative of the German trainer Klaus Bergmann , he switched to biathlon and started training in Oberhof in 2009 . Together with his compatriot Titus Rotich , Kiptoo took part in the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie . Despite ten shooting errors - he hit with no shot - Kiptoo achieved a remarkable result with 14th place. In the pursuit, he fell back to 18th place. Of 20 possible hits, he managed only one here.
