Titus Rotich (born August 22, 1983 ) is a Kenyan biathlete and former athlete .

In Kenya, Titus Rotich was a cross-country skier on the B national team in athletics, but could not prevail over the long term against the world class athletes. He ran times in the range of 3:40 minutes over 1500 m and 13:40 minutes over 5000 m. At the initiative of the German trainer Klaus Bergmann , he switched to biathlon and has been training in Oberhof since 2009 with the aim of taking part in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . Together with his compatriot Eliyah Kiptoo , Rotich took part in the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie . Rotich reached with ten shooting errors - he hit no shot - 29th place. In the pursuit he fell back to 30th place. Out of 20 possible hits, he only got two here. In addition, Rotich is still active as a track and field athlete in Germany. On December 31, 2009, he took part in the 36th Erfurt New Year's Eve run and finished second behind Wolfram Müller .

A use in the IBU Cup was not planned for the 2011/12 season due to a lack of technical skills on skis , but then it never took place. The intended use at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi did not materialize. Rotich devoted himself more to athletics again and set his personal best over 10 miles and also in the 2014 marathon.
