The Donjek River is a right tributary of the White River in Canada's Yukon Territory .

The Donjek River has its source in the Donjek Range . The river flows mainly in a northerly direction. The Kluane Glacier and Donjek Glacier feed the upper reaches of the Donjek River. The river also receives water from the Steele Glacier via the Steele Creek . The Alaska Highway ( Yukon Highway 1 ) crosses the river shortly after it leaves the Elias Range on the only bridge over the river. In the middle reaches the Kluane River , which drains the Kluane Lake , flows into the Donjek River on the right. The river continues its course north. In the lower reaches of the Nisling River and Klotassin River meet the Donjek River from the right. This turns to the west shortly before its confluence with the White River. The Donjek River has a length of about 270 km. The upper reaches of the Donjek River lies within the Kluane National Park and Reserve of Canada .

The Donjek glacier periodically blocks the course of the river, which leads to flooding of the downstream areas when the resulting glacial lakes are emptied.
