Elkofen , formerly Ölkofen or Oelkofen , is a district of Grafing near Munich in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg . The former municipality of Elkofen, consisting of Oberelkofen , Unterelkofen , Eisendorf , Bachhäusl and Henneleiten , was incorporated into Grafing near Munich on May 1, 1978 and forms the southwestern part of the urban area. The seat of the community was the parish village of Oberelkofen. The castle Elkofen located in the village Unterelkofen.
