Ellen Verbeek

Ellen Verbeek (born August 13, 1958 in Enschede ) is a Dutch journalist and was editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan in Russia from 1994 to 2005 .

Life

After graduating from high school in the Netherlands in 1976, Verbeek began studying at the University of Amsterdam . From 1980 to 1983 Verbeek worked as a copywriter for Ogilvy & Mather . From 1983 to 1985 she worked as a journalist for the Dutch magazine Nieuwe Revu . In 1989 she moved to Moscow with her husband Derk Sauer . In 2004, Ellen Verbeek became the Creative Director of Sanoma Independent Media. Today (2016) she is editor-in-chief of the Russian edition of Yoga Journal magazine .
