The Elliott Nunatak is a large and 2,165 m high nunatak in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It rises 1.5 km west of the Drake Nunatak at the center of the Bermel Escarpment in the Thiel Mountains .
Peter Bermel and Arthur B. Ford , who jointly led an expedition of the United States Geological Survey from 1960 to 1961 in the Thiel Mountains, made the name. It is named after the American geologist Raymond L. Elliott, another participant in this expedition.
