Elliott Lester (Director)

Elliott Lester (born in London , England in the early 1970s ) is a British film and television director .

Life

Lester graduated from the University of Leeds . After a year in India, he worked in London as a television assistant. In 1995 he went to the USA, where he worked as an assistant with directors such as Tony Kaye and Vincent Gallo . From 2004 he started making music videos . After receiving a Cleo Award as a young director and various prizes for his music videos, he received the Critique's Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival for his debut film Love Is the Drug . As a director, he has been involved in ten productions so far.
