Elvira Siebert

Elvira Siebert (born February 23, 1970 in Berlin ) is a German television presenter and journalist .

Life

Siebert grew up in East Berlin . She began her journalistic career at the time of the fall as a trainee for the newspaper Junge Welt . From 1990 she studied journalism in Leipzig and then completed her training as an editor at the Berlin School of Journalism . During this time she was already writing for the features section of the Berliner Zeitung and reporting as a reporter for the Berliner Rundfunk . She also worked as a press officer for festivals and aid organizations.

In 1994 she came to what was then ORB , today's rbb-Fernsehen . She started her television career there as a reporter and news anchor from Brandenburg . She also presented the magazine Rückblende and, since 2003, rbb um 6 - the country magazine and the special program rbb special .

From 2005 to 2011 she was the presenter of the popular rbb news program Brandenburg aktuell, alternating with Gerald Meyer , Tatjana Jury and Dirk Platt . She also presented live events such as the 20th Potsdam AIDS Gala in February 2011 . She lives in Berlin-Pankow .
