Emanuele Idini

Emanuele Idini (born December 18, 1970 in Rome ) is a former Italian freestyle swimmer who represented his country at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics .

However, he did not win medals when he took part in the Olympics. He was more successful for it at the European Championships. At the European Championships in Athens in 1991 , he won the silver medal with his relay colleagues Roberto Gleria , Stefano Battistelli and Giorgio Lamberti in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay . At the European Championships in Vienna in 1995, bronze was achieved over the same distance. His season mates Massimiliano Rosolino , Emanuele Merisi and Piermaria Siciliano were there .
