Emeraconart Cottage is a building near the village of Esknish on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay . It is a few hundred meters west of Esknish just off the A846 on its way from Bridgend to Ballygrant . Near the back of the building, the two headwaters of the Sorn converge , flowing out of Loch Ballygrant and Loch Finlaggan . description

The exact construction date of Emeranconart Cottage is not recorded, so that only the early 19th century can be given as the construction period. Architecturally it corresponds to the traditional Scottish style. It is built on one level and plastered using the traditional Harling technique. Two windows symmetrically surround the front door, which is set in the middle of the front. The top floor has been expanded and is illuminated by three dormers that protrude from the front. The building ends with a slate-covered gable roof . At the back there are various additions for agricultural use.
