Giuliani Benassi from laut.de rated Emigrate with three out of a possible five points. Connections to Rammstein became clear, but the album was "a lot sweeter than the original, especially since the controversial lyrics and poses are missing". Richard Kruspe's English singing is “far less charismatic than Till Lindemann and relies on distortions to hide the German accent”.
