Emil Aloysius Wcela (born May 1, 1931 in Bay Shore ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Rockville Center .
Life
Emil Aloysius Wcela was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Brooklyn on March 19, 1960 .
Pope John Paul II named him Auxiliary Bishop in Rockville Center and Titular Bishop of Filaca on October 21, 1988 . He received his episcopal ordination on December 13 of the same year by the Bishop of Rockville Center, John Raymond McGann ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops Alfred John Markiewicz and James Joseph Daly from Rockville Center.
On April 3, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
