Emil Höchstädter

Emil Höchstädter (born January 31, 1881 in Kitzingen ; † December 6, 1961 in Würzburg ) was a German lawyer.

Höchstädter completed his studies with a doctorate as Dr. jur. from. From 1911 he was a district judge in Munich. Participation in the First World War interrupted his professional career. From 1934 he was a member of the Lempp circle and in 1943 co-author and bearer of the so-called “Memorandum of the Munich Laity” by the Württemberg pastor Hermann Diem on the Jewish question.

From 1946 to 1951 he was President of the Bayreuth Regional Court.
