Emil Knoll
Emil Knöll (born December 24, 1889 in Basel ; † July 11, 1972 in Basel ) was a Swiss sculptor .
Works
Emil Knöll's works include figurative sculptures and sculptures, goldsmith's work, tombs and fountains. In 1927 he received a federal art grant and in 1950 he took part in the anniversary exhibition at the Kunsthalle Basel. Some of his works emerged from the Basel-Stadt art credit . Knöll was married to Hildi Knöll-Widmer (1894–1950). Their common grave is in the Hörnli cemetery .
