Emil Müller (politician, February 1893)

Emil Müller (born February 7, 1893 in Frankfurt am Main ; † September 2, 1963 ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After attending primary school, Emil Müller did an apprenticeship as an electrical mechanic and did military service from 1914 to 1918 . He then worked in assembly activities at home and abroad and attended the state mechanical engineering school in Giessen and passed the foreman examination. After the seizure of power of the Nazis in 1933 he was dismissed for political reasons. After 1945 he was plant manager of the Bad Nauheim municipal utility .

politics

Emil Müller had been a member of the SPD since 1910 and a union member at the same time. In his party he was chairman of the Friedberg-Büdingen sub-district. In local politics he was active from 1932 to 1933 as a member of the Friedberg district council . From September 2, 1953 (as a successor for Anton Lux ) to November 30, 1954 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament and in 1954 a member of the 2nd Federal Assembly .
