Carl Emil Marshall (born April 20,  2000 in Baltimore , USA ) is a German basketball player .

career

Marshall was born in Baltimore. His father is German, his mother is American. He grew up in Lübeck and started playing basketball at the age of seven. He played in the youth of the Lübeck gymnastics club. Until 2013 he was also active as a judoka .

In 2014 he played for Piraten Hamburg in JBBL .

In 2015 he spent a year abroad in Seattle and played basketball at Shorewood High School.

From 2016 to 2019 he played for the Pirates in the NBBL , in 2017 he moved to Hamburg and was accepted into the ProB squad of SC Rist Wedel .

For the 2018/2019 season, Marshall was accepted into the ProA team at Hamburg Towers , but was slowed down by back problems and was not used in the promotion season.

In summer 2020 he left northern Germany and joined the second division PS Karlsruhe .
