Emilie Christensen (born April 13, 1993 in Oslo , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player who belongs to the squad of the Norwegian national team.
Career
Emilie Christensen ran with Fana IL in the 1st divisjon, the second highest Norwegian league. In December 2013, the backcourt player moved to the Norwegian first division club Glassverket IF , who at that time had to do without Nina Heglund and Tiril Merg due to injury . From summer 2017 she was under contract with Larvik HK . Christensen played for the Hungarian first division club Ferencváros Budapest in the 2019/20 season . She then joined the Norwegian first division team Molde HK .
Christensen appeared 15 times for the Norwegian youth team and 11 times for the junior national team. With Norway, she won the silver medal at the U-18 World Cup in 2010 . She also took part in the 2011 U-19 European Championship . On November 23, 2017, she made her debut for the Norwegian national team. Christensen won the silver medal at the World Cup in Germany .
