Emilie Kassowitz
Emilie Kassowitz (born November 4, 1854 in Vienna as Emilie Rosenthal ; † May 28, 1938 ibid) was an Austrian journalist and association official.
Life
Emilie Kassowitz, married to the pediatrician Max Kassowitz since April 17, 1876 , founded the association of abstinent women in 1903, which she directed until 1907 and from 1925 to 1937. She wrote essays on abstinence for the magazines of the Federation of Austrian Women's Associations Der Bund and Die Österreicherin .
The philosopher and publicist Julia Kassowitz (1882–1924) and the economist and journalist Toni Stolper were her daughters.
