Emilio Salafia (born October 10, 1910 in Palermo , † May 24, 1969 ibid) was an Italian saber fencer .
successes
Emilio Salafia was vice world champion with the team in Liège in 1930 , Vienna in 1931 , Budapest in 1933 , Warsaw in 1934 and in Lausanne in 1935 . He took part in two Olympic Games in the saber competitions: in 1928 in Amsterdam he finished second with the Italian team behind Hungary and received the silver medal together with Renato Anselmi , Bino Bini , Gustavo Marzi , Oreste Puliti and Giulio Sarrocchi . At the Olympic Games in 1932 in Los Angeles , he moved with the team again in the final round, which he finished with her one more time behind Hungary in second place. In addition to Salafia, Renato Anselmi, Giulio Gaudini , Gustavo Marzi, Ugo Pignotti and Arturo De Vecchi won the silver medal. He finished the individual competition in tenth place.
