Emin Sükrü Senkal , also Sükrü Senkal (born February 26, 1972 in Bremen ) is a Bremen politician ( SPD ) and he was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Family, education and work

After obtaining the secondary school leaving certificate, Senkal completed his Abitur in 1996 via the second educational path at the adult school in Bremen (college). In 1998 he began studying political science at the University of Bremen , which he broke off after two semesters in 1999 because he was offered a permanent position at Hella Vehicle Components GmbH . From 2000 to 2002 he was deputy chairman of the works council and 2005-2006 key users in the project team Warehouse Management from SAP operates.

He has been Sales Manager at Messe Bremen GmbH since 2017 .

Senkal is married and has one child.

politics

Senkal became a member of the SPD in 1997. Since 2003 he has been on the board of the SPD local club in Huchting and since 2006 chairman of the local club. From 2003 to 2007 he was a member of the advisory board of the Bremen-Huchting district.

Senkal was a member of Bremen's citizenship from June 8, 2007 to 2019. He acts as the cultural-political spokesman for the SPD. He has been on the board of the SPD parliamentary group since 2011. He is represented in the committee for citizen participation, civic engagement and advisory boards (city), temporary committee "Extension of the right to vote", works committee music school Bremen, control committee according to the police law, parliamentary control commission, municipal petitions committee, legal committee and in the constitution and rules of procedure committee as well as in the city Deputation for culture and the state and municipal deputation for home affairs and sport.

Until 2019 he was the domestic policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.
