Emma Kathryn Miskew (born February 14, 1989 in Ottawa ) is a Canadian curler . She has played third in Rachel Homan's team since 2002 .
Miskew has played with Rachel Homan since she was 11 years old. With her as Skip, Laura Crocker as Second and Lynn Kreviazuk as Lead, she won the Canadian Junior Championship 2010. She qualified for the Junior World Championship 2010 and won the silver medal there. With Team Homan she won the Canadian women's championship Tournament of Hearts in 2013, 2014 and 2017 . As the winner, she and her team represented Canada at the following World Championships. After a bronze medal in 2013 and a silver medal in 2014 , she won the gold medal at the 2017 World Championships together with Rachel Homan, Joanne Courtney (Second) and Lisa Weagle (Lead). They became the first team in the history of the Women's World Cup to win all games and beat Anna Sidorova's team from Russia 8: 3.
In November 2017, she and Team Homan won the Canadian Roar of the Rings by beating Jennifer Jones' team in the final and represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . After four wins and five defeats, the Canadian team finished sixth and thus missed out on the finals.
Private life
Miskew graduated from Carleton University with a bachelor's degree in industrial design in 2012 . She worked for the Canadian Senate as a project coordinator for several years . She is currently working as a freelance graphic designer.
