In 2003, the WDR dedicated an article to her in the series “Menschen hautnah” under the title “Emmy - 100 Years Never Lovesickness”.

In 2006 (at the age of 103) her second book was published, the novel “Bunte Zeiten”, which processes biographical experiences in the form of four fictional biographies. At that time, Emmy Herzog was the oldest female author in Germany.
