Career
The 1.76 meter tall striker began his career in 1996 with Boavista SC , he was under contract in the 1996/97 season. From 1997 to 2002 he moved to various clubs. In 2002 he signed a $ 1 million contract with UANL Tigres , where he played 23 league games. He was signed up to the 2005/2006 season, but switched to the club Atlético Mineiro on May 9, 2003 unilaterally and thus in breach of contract . There it was bought by the EC Vitória association for three years on July 28 of the same year . From 2003 to 2005 he took part in 16 league games and scored one goal.
In 2004, the Tigres club brought this breach of contract to FIFA, which imposed a fine of $ 1.15 million and a four-month suspension, whereupon he appealed and the International Court of Justice finally sentenced him to a fine of $ 750,000. From 2006 to 2009 he was under contract with the Palmeiras São Paulo club and from 2007 he was loaned by five clubs. He is currently a non-contract player.
