action
The speaker pursues the question of what a city would be in a laconic tone. For the investigation he uses, among other things, a street sweeper who has spent his entire life in Copenhagen, as well as a painter who is looking for motifs for his pictures, especially at the city's harbor. A city rich in tradition is shown, which is also dedicated to modernity. Copenhagen is portrayed as social and problem-free. You can see the workshops of Royal Copenhagen , the shipyard on Holmen and again and again attractions of Tivoli . Recordings from 1912 are also cut into the film. Although the question is examined from different angles and given different facts about the city, it remains unanswered. But regardless of that, it can be said that there is a city called Copenhagen.
