Endlkirchen is a part of the municipality of Erlbach in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting . It formed an independent municipality until 1970.

Endlkirchen is located about one kilometer west of Erlbach in the Isar-Inn hill country .
history
It is possible that Ellenhartschirichun Endlkirchen, mentioned in 933 in connection with a transfer of ownership to the Archbishop of Salzburg , was meant, but it could also be Ellenhartskirchen near Bad Aibling .
Endlkirchen made until the early 19th century, the chairman shaft Endlkirchen in office Reischach , which also belonged to Erlbach. In 1752 the place consisted of four properties.
The community of Endlkirchen with numerous districts has existed since 1818. On January 1, 1970, this went up in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria in the municipality of Erlbach. Endlkirchen is a church branch of the Reischach parish.
Attractions
- Filial church of St Michael. The late Gothic hall church with its own cemetery is partly Romanesque in the nave, the choir was built in the 15th century. In the 17th century the church was redesigned again. The furnishings are neo-Gothic, the high altar comes from Emanuel Basler the Elder .
