The energy-trading company (EHA) is a German energy trading company . The company's headquarters are in Hamburg . Until the end of 2013, EHA was owned 50 percent each by Vattenfall and the Rewe Group . The Rewe Group has been the sole owner since December 31, 2013, after taking over the 50 percent stake from Vattenfall GmbH.
EHA is one of the largest green electricity suppliers and one of the first providers on the market to deliver 100 percent green electricity to its customers. The main customers are predominantly REWE branches and partners, but third parties are also supplied with the green electricity. The company does not have its own power plants , but obtains its requirements directly from municipal utilities or from the energy exchange in Leipzig ( EEX ). The TÜV SÜD certified the EHA as the first energy service provider in Germany climate neutrality .
