Engelstein (community Großschönau)

Engelstein is a village in the market town of Großschönau in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

location

The longitudinal tangle village with garden fields is located south of Großschönau in a depression of the Maißbach .

history

The place was officially owned by Zwettl Abbey in 1234 .

Development

Three and four-sided courtyards, some with a simple plaster structure, in the west of the village are small houses.
