Friedreichs is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Großschönau in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 33 building areas with 15,470 m² and 24 gardens on 10,934 m² in the cadastral community Friedreichs and also in 1989/1990 there were 33 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 106 and in 2009/2010 there were 56 buildings on 97 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 206 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 128 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 187 hectares and 145 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 182 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 145 hectares. The average soil climate number of Friedreichs is 16.8 (as of 2010).
