Wörnharts is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Großschönau in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 34 building areas with 17,532 m² and 16 gardens on 4,463 m² in the cadastral community of Wörnharts, in 1989/1990 there were already 35 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 103 and in 2009/2010 there were 60 buildings on 99 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980 259 hectares were used for agriculture and 126 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 236 hectares and 141 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 235 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 141 hectares. The average soil climate number of Wörnharts is 21.5 (as of 2010).
