Engin Güngör (born May 17, 1986 in Nijmegen ) is a Dutch - Turkish soccer player .
Career
Güngör was born to parents of Turkish origin in Nijmegen, the Netherlands . Here he learned to play football in the youth departments of various clubs.
Güngör started his professional career in 2006 with the second division club FC Eindhoven , for which he played for the following two years. In summer 2008 he decided to continue his career in Turkey and moved to the first division club Hacettepe SK . Here he played until the spring of 2011, where he spent the second half of the 2009/10 season at third division Kastamonuspor . Güngör then played from spring 2011 to summer 2011 for the Istanbul fourth division club Gaziosmanpaşaspor . Here he and his team reached the championship of the TFF 3rd Lig and thus promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig . Despite this success, he moved on to Tarsus İdman Yurdu before the start of the season . Here he immediately established himself as a regular player and rose with his team at the end of the season as a playoff winner in the TFF 2nd Lig.
Güngör left Tarsus İY after promotion and moved to the fourth division Altınordu Izmir . Güngör also managed to become fourth division champion with this club. As a result, he rose with three different teams three times in a row in the TFF 2nd Lig. After this success, Güngör stayed with Altınordu. His team also won the championship in the 2nd Lig. As a result, Altınordu returned to the TFF 1st Lig , the second highest Turkish league, after a 24-year absence .
In January 2015 he moved to the third division Keçiörengücü .
