Eni Rewind SpA is a subsidiary of the Italian oil and energy group Eni , which operates in the petrochemical and inorganic chemistry sectors. It is based in San Donato Milanese near Milan and has 31 production and 745 sales outlets across Italy.

The company was called EniChem until 1999 . Those areas that were not part of the petrochemicals industry were transferred to Polimeri Europa in 2002 . Between 1999 and 2019 the company traded under the name Syndial SpA

The main products are sodium hydroxide , sodium hypochlorite , hydrochloric acid and hydrogen . The main works are located in Assemini, Manfredonia, Cirò Marina, Porto Marghera, which is part of Venice , and Porto Torres.

To this day, Syndial holds numerous properties and land, with which the company manages large amounts of contaminated sites. In order to be able to sell the properties, extensive cleaning measures have to be carried out. The company is held responsible for environmental damage in the past, such as the introduction of DDT into Lake Maggiore between 1990 and 1996. A court in Turin sentenced the company to a fine of 1.9 billion euros.

In 2008, a court in San Francisco, California brought charges against Syndial for fixing prices in the area of chloroprene rubber from around 1999 to 2002.

On November 1, 2019, the company changed its name from Syndial SpA back to Eni Rewind SpA
