Entoloma subg. Alboleptonia , even White Zärtlinge or Zärtlinge called, is a sub-species of mullet that in the three sections Alboleptonia , Cephalotricha and Roseicaules is divided.

The type species is the milk white tenderloin ( Entoloma sericellum ).

features

The fruiting bodies have a helmet-like or turnip-like habit and white, pale yellow or pink colors. The hat skin is a cutis with transitions to a trichoderm.

Systematics

In 1970 David Lee Largent and RG Benedict described the genus Alboleptonia . Henri Romagnesi combined the taxon in 1979 - the publication from the previous year was invalid - as a subgenus of the genus Rhodophyllus . In the same year Machiel E. Noordeloos finally integrated the taxon as a subgenus in the genus Entoloma .

Section Alboleptonia

The section Alboleptonia includes white to pale yellow fruiting bodies, the hyphae septa of which have buckles.

  • Yellow and white petling - Entoloma olorinum (Romagnesi & J. Favre 1938) Noordeloos 1979
  • Glassy petling - Entoloma percandidum Noordeloos 1982
  • Milky white tenderloin - Entoloma sericellum (Fries 1818: Fries 1821) P. Kummer 1871

Section of Cephalotricha

The section Cephalotricha includes white fruiting bodies with heady hair on the hat and stem. The septa of the hyphae have no buckles. Just one kind.

Roseicaules section

The Roseicaules section includes fruit bodies with pink tones. The hyphae septa have buckles.
