Entoloma subg. Allocybe , like the genus Entoloma also called red rot ,is a subgenus of the genus of red rot .

The type species is the eccentric Rötling ( Entoloma excentricum ).

features

The fruit bodies have a knightly habit and no hygrophan hats. The cheilocystids are long and spindle-shaped to bottle-shaped.

Systematics

In 1981 the Dutch mycologist Machiel Evert Noordeloos described the subgenus Allocybe . In Europe, the subgenus is only represented by a single species.
