To the zither and diatonic accordion he expanded his instrument repertoire autodidactically with harmonica , concertina , ukulele , mandolin , singing saw , trumpet , tuba and string zither .

Otto Göttler is the author of the modified McDonald’s parody of the Suserl double Hunga kriag i glei , also known as Mäkki , with which the BDJW became known.

Since 2002 Otto Göttler has been developing thematic programs with the Bavarian bard and copywriter Sepp Raith that deal with Bavarian history and current events. On this subject, he appeared with Sepp Raith in the film documentary Social Rebels in Bavaria , a production by Bayerischer Rundfunk from 2003 based on the book by Michaela Karl .
